    The ends of IR Solas material will be rough they were cut with a pair of scissors.  You can count on at least 17 3/4" in the length.  There is a seam in the Velcro which runs the whole length of the strip.

    This material is Covert, meaning that it only reflects when viewed with night vision equipment.  The opaque Magic Black coating becomes transparent when viewed with night vision equipment, allowing for the InfraRed light to bounce off the Reflective Solas material underneath and reflect back to the night vision goggles or camera.
