Glas 1700 sedan brochure Prospekt, 1964 (German text)

Description

This is probably the debut sales brochure for the Glas 1700 sedan (production was from August 1964 and December 1967, but the initial 80ps output quoted was upgraded to 85ps in 1965). The company was taken over by BMW in 1966, mainly to acquire its production facilities in Dingolfing, which became BMW's central car plant. Glas (previously Goggomobile) products were re-badged as BMWs for one year, after which all the Glas models were quickly phased out.
