Offered is a 1970-1971 National Basketball Association Champion Milwaukee Bucks team-signed Spalding Official NBA David J. Stern basketball with 13 signatures, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson. The signatures are in black marker on the orange pebbled leather basketball embossed in black with the legend “1970-1971 NBA World Champions Milwaukee Bucks” over the Bucks logo. The Hall of Fame center who played as “Lew Alcindor” in the ’70-71 season has signed his name “Abdul Jabbar”. Other notable signatures include Robertson, Lucius Allen, Jon McGlocklin, Bob Dandridge, Jeff Webb, Greg Smith, Bob Boozer, Bob Greacen, McCoy McLemore, Dick Cunningham and coach Larry Costello. The 1970–71 Milwaukee Bucks season was the third season for the Bucks, and they posted a 66–16 record A key part of this championship season was the acquisition of Robertson. Other role players on the Bucks included players such as Bob Dandridge (18.4 ppg), Jon McGlocklin (15.8 ppg), power forward Greg Smith and key reserves such as Lucius Allen, Bob Boozer and Dick Cunningham. This season included a 20-game winning streak, the NBA's longest at the time, and still ranked fifth all-time. The Bucks became the first team from the Midwest Division to win the NBA title; it would be 23 years before the Houston Rockets would do the same. Abdul-Jabbar (then Alcindor) was both the regular-season and NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. This item comes with a COA from JSA.
